Assignment Rules

• Assets can be assigned to a person, department, team, or location.
• Handoffs stay open until the receiver confirms.
• The initiator and receiver should be separate actors when custody changes.
• Overdue handoffs should raise notifications and dashboard items.

Maintenance Rules

• Service requests become work orders.
• Work orders track assignee, priority, status, downtime, cost, and close time.
• Emergency repair is logged as a distinct path.
• Maintenance cost feeds the asset financial profile.
• Maintenance due dates feed compliance items.
